A Sunday Angeles Crest Highway Run
Angeles Crest Highway is a 60 mile ribbon of driver's paradise running from La Cañada to Wrightwood, California. Construction started in 1929, but wasn't completed until 1956. Since then there have been numerous reasons for closure, mainly fires and landslides. This past weekend though it was wide open, save a couple one lane stops due to 1: a landslide covering the road with boulders, a 2: a landslide resulting in half the road crumbling into the canyon below. So we took advantage and did the complete stretch:
